Everyone asks, here it is.
This is what we do:
-Find neglected furniture (or something that might have potential to be furniture) and try to pack it into our car or trailer. (occasionally on the top)
-Move furniture regularly from one side of the shop to the other until we stop looking at it and decide to DO IT.
-Perform furniture surgery. (general practice)
-Clean up the aftermath. (don't know the technical term)
-Move the refurbished piece to the front room.
(Here is where you come in, literally)
-You stop in and see what's "new" and have a conversation with my lovely wife, Randilynn
-You find a neat item with history, or a story behind it, and buy it for your home.
-We then help fit the new piece into/onto YOUR car (delivery is an option)
From there it's your story...
On a more personal level, this gig has been such a blessing to our lives. It allows us great flexibility with our kids. They are able to be with us at work where they can learn, play and help out.
Work for us is awesome and fun, but not our highest priority. (thus the limited hours when the interns are back in school.) Thank you all for your support, love and time. We never want to get too busy making a living that we forget to make a life.
"Work will always take the time you give it"
(regular words from a best friend, Glenn Dykstra)
